My writing course, “Creating Non-fiction for Children”, is being offered again by George Brown College. It is an introduction to the basic elements of writing non-fiction (articles and books) for younger readers. I am thrilled and honoured to announce that “Don’t Touch That Toad and Other Strange Things Adults Tell You” has been recognized with two more awards this year!
Late last year I learned that it would be nominated for a Forest of Reading Award, and in May this year, I found out that it won that award:
